Buyers Broker Ltd was established in 2006 in direct response to the lack of representation for property buyers in this country.

Coming from both legal and property backgrounds, founding directors, Carol Tallon and Orla Fitzmaurice, combined their skills to tip the scales back in the favour of the property buyer.
Nationwide representation
As the first company of its kind operating throughout Ireland, we represent the interests of property buyers exclusively. Until 2006, property buyers were entirely unrepresented throughout the crucial stages of purchasing property i.e. negotiations. Our mission is to level the playing field for buyers by offering the same level of representation to our clients as traditionally offered by the auctioneer to the seller.
The half-million euro boxes
The final push to start the business came about when the news reported that first time buyers were sleeping in their cars overnight for the privilege of paying half a million euro for box houses 10 miles from the city (Adamstown). Buyers of that era are prime examples of why buyer representation is crucial - it is very hard to decipher the hype from reality when you are swept up in the tide of emotion that buying a property can bring - that's where we come in.
Our Role as Buying Agents
Our role is generally to advise clients on current market trends, source a selection of potentially suitable properties, negotiate favorable terms and take steps to acquire the property.

We have positioned ourselves well in the market place and source the majority of properties through auctioneers or directly from the developers, however, approximately 30% of properties sourced through Buyers Broker Ltd. are off-market opportunities, which result in significantly greater value for the buyer. We currently work with a range of private and corporate clients who are seeking to take advantage of the weak marketplace to buy their first home or invest in discounted residential and/or commercial property.
Changes in the Property Market
Changes in the property market in recent years, not only in Ireland but globally, have led to confusion among buyers and access to relevant, up-to-date, independent advice has never been so important. The team at Buyers Broker Ltd. never sells property or receives commission etc. from the seller, this means that we are entirely independent in the advice we give and the properties we select. Our only obligation is to you - the buyer.
